Review: Be Organic Cocoa Butter Diaper Cream

Every mama out there knows how important it is to have a reliable diaper rash cream. From the day the baby is born until the next couple or so years of his/her life, they'd be using diapers, be it disposable or cloth, everyday. Lucky are those moms whose children mastered potty training earlier. As for me, I've been trying to potty train my son but we still get accidents because he tends to forget where to pee especially when he's busy playing. I have no choice but to have him wear diapers during bedtime and when we go out.

Over the course of two years, we have tried a few diaper rash creams with Dermablend Zinc Oxide as the most favorite one. While we're okay with Dermablend, I'm always drawn to organic products so I decided to try Human Heart Nature Natural Nappy Cream. We finished two tubs of it and I knew in my heart I want to try something else so I got Be Organic's Cocoa Butter Diaper Cream.

Product Description

Our natural diaper cream/balm is made from all natural ingredients like cocoa butter, beeswax and olive oil to nourish, repair and create a barrier to protect your little one from wetness and irritations. Calendula is especially useful in soothing rashes, insect bites and other minor irritations.

Review

Packaging and Appeal. The product comes in a clear tub with screw cap that contains the label of the product. The product itself is cream-colored. I love that the cream is a bit oily hence easy to apply and blend on the skin. It is not sticky which is true with Human Heart Nature Natural Nappy Cream.

Effectiveness. So far, this product has been effective in preventing and treating my son's diaper rash. I think this is the most effective among the diaper rash creams we have tried. It has managed to treat the rash in just a couple of days. There was a time when my son suffered from diarrhea because he ingested something that's not supposed to be in his body. This cream prevented a major irritation (due to frequent washing) from wreaking havoc. The cream is also effective in soothing and treating itchiness due to insect bites.

Scent. Its smell is similar to several organic soaps. I love it so much!

Ingredients. The cream contains natural ingredients including coconut oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, olive oil and essential oils.

Price. Regular price is Php 250 and it can go lower since the company usually has promos and price slash. A little product goes a long way though so one tub usually lasts a couple of months.

Availability. Be Organic products are available via BeautyMNL or the company's official Shopee account. They ship really fast despite their warning that ship out may take longer due to high volume of orders. They also have physical shops in some malls in Manila but since I am based in the province, the easiest way for me to have their products is to order online.

Be Organic Cocoa Butter Diaper Cream is by far our most favorite diaper rash cream. It is effective, natural and smells so good! It is reasonably priced as well and it's worth the money.
