If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know how much I suffered from pimples last year. It was the most terrible pimple-attack for me ever and I dreaded going out of the house as my self-confidence dropped to negative 100. LOL! But I am so glad that I am over it now. The experience is something I do not want to happen again so I am doing everything I can to prevent a repeat.
Late last March, my face started to itch like before and a few pimples came popping around my face. Review
Packaging and Appeal. The packaging comes in a cute transparent pump bottle. The product itself, as the name implies, is gel with no shimmer or whatsoever. It is very easy to apply, does not give greasy feeling and dries fast.
Effectiveness. After using one bottle of this product for a couple of months, I can say that it can be effective in treating pimples however, the result is not as immediate as Epiduo Gel provides. With Human Heart Nature Acne Defense Gel, effects can be seen at least after three days (or more) of application. Then the progress is slow especially in lightening the scar. But one good thing I like about this product is it prevents the pimples from getting worse and becoming cystic.
Scent. The product has that minty scent that will disappear in a few seconds.

Price. This product comes in one size only and can be bought for Php 199 and may last for a couple of months or so depending on the frequency of application and amount of product used each time.

Will I purchase again?
Maybe, depending on my pimples. If I think it is too much for this little product to handle, I will never hesitate to switch back to Epiduo Gel which is more potent.
Conclusion
Human Heart Nature Acne Defense Gel is an effective product in treating mild pimple issues. Apart from that, it is also very affordable, easy to use and environment-friendly. Result may not be seen almost immediately but consistent application along with proper washing regimen and healthy diet will definitely do wonders.

ReplyDeleteEpiduo works great for me. Aside from that, my dermatologist also prescribed antibiotics for greater effect.
With regards to food, the derma said to minimize salty foods, Vitamin B supplement. And though hindi sinabi ng derma, I also avoid nuts, sweets, chicken, eggs and even meat. Fish and veggies lang talaga ako during the time na malala pimple ko.
Hair products and toothpaste may cause pimples as well.
