Review: Human Heart Nature Strengthening Conditioner

Having dandruff with dry and frizzy hair is not easy. It greatly affects my self-confidence and often leads me to having my hair in ponytail to conceal such less than desirable sight. But for someone who believes that giving up is not an option (LOL!), I am always on the lookout for hair care products that can help me address my problem.

When pimples started attacking my face, I decided to switch from formula hair care products to natural/organic and mild products hoping that it will lessen my skin problems. I first tried using Nanny Rose’s Gugo & Lawat Shampoo then changed again to Lauat Herbal Hair Treatment shampoo however, the two shampoos failed to give me something that I need so I switched again to lactacyd (blue). A short while of using lactacyd as shampoo, I started switching my conditioner to Human Heart Nature Strengthening Conditioner in soothing aloe variant. I first bought the smaller bottle then bought the bigger one later on.

So what made me buy the bigger size? This review will tell you why…

Product Description.
99.5% Natural

Give yourself a double dose of strength with our Natural Strengthening Conditioner in tandem with our Natural Strengthening Shampoo.

Chemical-laden conditioners can make your hair smooth and shiny now, but years of use can actually do more harm than good to your locks. Our Natural Strengthening Conditioner is 100% free from harmful chemicals and infused with hydrolyzed wheat protein that helps fortify hair strands to reduce both breakage and hair fall. A rich fusion of sunflower, avocado and soybean oil keeps your hair healthy, soft, and shiny with fewer tangles to worry about.

Review

Packaging and Appeal. While the smaller size comes in a cute bottle, the bigger one comes in a chubby transparent tube. The product itself is white in cream form and is free of shimmer. It is more viscous than Pantene Conditioner I used prior to this.

Effectiveness. I love that this conditioner makes my hair soft and less frizzy. It is more manageable now however, it failed to give me what it is supposed to do - strengthen hair. Hair fall is not lessened and I’m quite disappointed with the result. Could it be because I use lactacyd as shampoo and it is not enough to strengthen the hair strands?

With this, I bought a bottle of shampoo of the same variant and use this alternatively with lactacyd and later on if I find the result okay, I will make it as my main shampoo and use lactacyd just once a week. I will update this review in a week or two.

Scent. I love the scent! Smelling this makes me feel good every time.

Ingredients. aqua (water), cetearyl alcohol (vegetable-derived), cetrimonium chloride (vegetable-derived), Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, olus (vegetable) oil, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Glycine soja (soybean) oil, capryloyl glycerin/sebacic acid copolymer (vegetable-derived), diheptyl succinate (vegetable-derived), Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, hydroxypropyltrimonium honey, hydrolyzed wheat protein, levulinic acid (rice or corn-derived), fragrance (all-natural), anisic acid (anise seed-derived)

Price. One good thing I love about Human Heart Nature is their reasonably-priced items. Most organic or natural products cost way too much but thankfully, this one is not. Additionally, their products often come in smaller sizes ideal for those like me who wants “trial period” before buying a bigger size. This 50ml. bottle costs Php 49.75. I got the 200ml for Php 144.75 and the biggest one, 500ml. is sold for Php 299.75.

Availability. Human Heart Nature products are available in Human Heart Nature branches all over the country or from authorized dealers near you. I don’t think that malls here in Iloilo carry the brand.

Conclusion.
If you want to switch to less harmful hair care products without breaking the bank, you may want to consider those from Human Heart Nature. I am not paid to do this post and the product I reviewed is bought by me but I recommend this product from the brand. They are usually chemical-free so it’s safe even for long-term use, affordable and the company has lots of projects to care for the environment at the same time provides opportunities to help alleviate poverty in the country.
